The Amputee Games presented by LimbPower, 2009

The 2012 Amputee Games will be our fifth Games introducing amputees to disability sport and perhaps the Paralympics. To date 370 amputees have benefitted from taking part in these games, why not become one of them?

The focus of the Games is on using sport to aid rehabilitation, as research indicates that the fitter and healthier we are the better our lifetime prognosis. You don’t need to be an athlete to join us for this event, just willing to have a go.

Have you been thinking about participating in sport, but don’t know where to start?

Come along to the Games and join the “Have-a-go” sessions.

Over the weekend you can participate in 13 sports; volleyball, basketball, tennis, badminton, football, swimming, cycling, rowing, fencing, powerlifting, shooting and more…”

Accommodation & food included, you just need to pay a small registration fee of £25 to secure your place at the 2012 games.
